Updated for 2024 - The Best Dental Local Directories List
Arcane Marketing has been able to help serve dental clients all over the US with digital marketing and specifically SEO. In fact, to date, we’ve worked with over 100 successful dental practices to help with their digital marketing success. This covers SEO, PPC, social media, website design, and videography. Success here is widely accepted by these dentists as growing their patient count month over month with steady growth that more than pays for the costs of the marketing strategies we implement. If you’ve been in the SEO world for a long time, like we have, you might remember that back in 2010 Google made an update that greatly devalued directories. In 2024, this is now a completely different story. Long gone (we hope) are the days where various agencies would exploit the use of directories as a primary source for their link acquisition. Today, we have proof that directory links are once again valuable to your link acquisition strategy and variety.
Maybe a little clarity on that statement: We have proof that appearing in the right directories with your dental practice is quite valuable. It’s also arguably one way that you can stand out from your competition in the eyes of Google. For dental practices (and specifically those who are actively working on digital marketing), we’ve compiled a list of dental specific directories to help your on your quest. Dentists obviously want people to come into their doors for their teeth troubles and needs. But, how do you raise the public’s awareness of your dental practice? While this information here isn’t all inclusive or the end-all-be-all information, we believe this is a GREAT place to start.
It’s our highest recommendation and suggestion that you submit your dental practice business into the following local directories (or local listings as we often call them).
Here’s What You Need To Do
We’ve decided to make the submission to these local listings pretty easy. Let’s say you click on up the first directory in our procured list. You get to the page and the local listing company wants you to search for a dentist. But, you are a dentist, you don’t need to find one. Well, usually you’ll have to scroll down to the bottom and find the tiny button where you can register your office. This dental directory list we’ve put together removes the need for that hunting! These links will point you to the exact page you need to get registered.
But, before you start clicking away, you need to know what to put on these sites. There’s a golden rule for local listing sites (which includes the dental office in this case), you want to establish a proper N.A.P. This stands for name, address, and phone. Basically, on these local listings, you want to put in the information (word-for-word and character for character, exactly the same) that is on your Google Business Profile. If you don’t have your Google Business Profile claimed and verified yet, then just WHAT are you doing?! That should really be your first Local Listing!
